Business spending across the African continent is expected to grow from US$2.6 trillion in 2015 to US$3.5 trillion by 2025. This trend is driving greater demand for quality, affordable healthcare services from the low and middle income households compromising 70 percent of Africa’s purchasing power. Recognising collaboration as critical to meeting this demand, the private healthcare sector, governments, and development agencies are increasingly invested in public-private partnerships to strengthen health systems and improve health outcomes.
Hosted by Africa Health Business Ltd. (AHBL), the Alliance du Secteur Privé de la Santé – Senegal, and the Ministry of Health – Senegal; AHBS II offers a platform to connect with thought leaders from the public and private sectors, iNGOs, academia, and development agencies to share lessons learned and catalyse collaborative action to strengthen PPPs focused on five key game-changers for health in Africa.
